Terms of service
These are the rules of using ClientTab. Plain language, no surprises. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them.
1. Account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. You're also responsible for what your team members do under your workspace. One person per account — no sharing accounts.
2. Use of the service
- Don't use ClientTab for anything illegal, abusive, or to send unsolicited bulk email.
- Don't try to break, probe, or overload our infrastructure (good- faith security research is welcome — see our Privacy page).
- Don't reverse-engineer the product or scrape it for commercial re-use.
- Respect the rate limits in our APIs. We may throttle abusive traffic without notice.
3. Your content
You own everything you put into your workspace — clients, tasks, files, messages, invoices. You grant us a narrow license to host and serve that content so the product can work. We don't read, analyze, or train models on it.
4. Plans, billing, and trials
- Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. We don't charge until the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel anytime in Settings; you'll keep access through the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months. Email support@clienttab.org if there's a billing error and we'll fix it.
5. Termination
You can close your account anytime. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms — we'll explain why and give you a chance to fix it where reasonable. On termination we delete your workspace data per the retention policy in our Privacy page.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no formal SLA on the standard plan. Scheduled maintenance is announced via email or in-app notification. We're not liable for outages caused by upstream third-party service providers we depend on.
7. Disclaimers
ClientTab is provided "as is." We don't promise it will fit a specific business need or be error-free. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be sent to account owners by email 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ClientTab is operated. Disputes are resolved there.
